Sometimes you're not straight, not because you are not hard

Today, i meet my friend on my factory, he tell me he got a order for window operator 😊 , but has problem bothered him for a long time 😢 .

The window operation has a Aluminum bar, when he stamping it the aluminum bar always bent. To solve this problem he change T5 hardness of aluminum into T6 hardness, because he believes that to use the hard aluminum will not become bend. But the result made him very disappointed, because the aluminum bar long and thin, after stamping, still can become bent .

When he asked me how to solve the problem in my production .I tell him it very easy , I did a little bit of mold modification

Like the up picture shows, my section is a ramp, and my friend's section is straight. Such a small change, can let me cut off and punching the two step merged into one step procedure

What is the reason? It is none of the hardness, because different stress points on the aluminum bar。

if use the bevel cut way,it will scattered the strength,so the aluminum not to bend,(as the No.1 ) if straight, will cause stress points concentrated in the middle, causing aluminum bar bending. (as the No.2)

So add the hardness not is the best way, and it will increase the cost and not solved the problem , if use this way, neither affect product of beautiful, also can ensure the quality of the products.
